Day 13

So, here is where it becomes frustrating. Today I woke up and my temperature was 97.8. Yesterday it was 97.1. That is a rise of .7 degrees. Usually a rise of .6 signifies ovulation. So have I already ovulated? I take my first ovulation test today. I guess I just need to relax. One blessing is that there hasn't been any pain or weird feelings or emotions with the clomid.

Yesterday I took my nieces and nephew bowling, on a picnic and to the library. Then I helped out with Super Summer Spectacular. It was a full, fun day.

Today I am going to a Rigby training with my fellow teacher Nancy. We are hopefully going to learn what things the curriculum has to offer to teach reading. Tonight Jeff and I go to our first adoption class. I think I need to read my Bible.

I know what you mean about the temperature thing. . . I remember wishing urine turned blue or something when ovulating so there was no guess work involved. No such luck! I wish you weren't on this journey, crying Hannah tears. It's amazing to me how many of my friends have had a hard time getting pregnant. At least 5. The good news is that God has blessed all of them with children. And while I say that I also have to say b/c it use to drive me crazy when people would say, "you'll have a baby eventually." because they don't know that. Some women just can't have babies for reasons they won't know until they ask God in heaven. But you are in my prayers, that God's will be done in your life as I'm sure it is since you've put it in His hands! I just know it's hard when your timing & His don't match up. That actually happens to me quite a bit! Anyway, blah blah blah blah. . . Let's find a time to get together again soon! We only have a few weeks left before me & the girls head out to Idaho. Love you! ~Wendy.

Hey Erin! I finally found your blog! I've kind of been out of the blogging world lately. Anyway saw that you are taking clomid and have known some people that have not had success with it because it can dry up fertile cervical fluid. However there is a solution. Have you ever heard of preseed? It's basically synthetic fertile cervical fluid for people who do not produce it on their own or for those using things such as clomid. Anyway, just thought I would mention it. Also, I have used it too. You can get it online and it's like $14.99 or something. Anyway, thought I would mention it. -Les
